The Public Health etc. (Scotland) Act 2008 requires NHS Boards, in consultation with Local Authorities, to produce a Joint Health Protection Plan which provides an overview of health protection (communicable disease and environmental health) priorities, provision and preparedness for the NHS Board area. Guidance on the content of joint health protection plans has been published by the Scottish Government. This plan covers the period from 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2025. Last published in 2018, the intention is update every two years, in line with government guidance, and was due to have been updated in Spring 2020.Collections
