The CRAFFT tool provides an opportunity for youth workers to have a structured conversation with young people about alcohol and drug use, and can identify young people who may benefit from brief interventions or who may benefit from referral to other agencies for support. A working group was established to oversee the development and delivery of new guidelines for screening, delivering brief interventions and making onward referrals for young people in youth work settings in Glasgow City. The working group commissioned work to develop guidelines and evaluate a pilot implementation.en_US
