Evaluation of the Café Stork Parkhead project which was developed by the North East Glasgow Health Improvement team in response to findings of local research which showed that for expectant mothers the presence of social support can provide a buffer against perinatal mental illness. The project aimed to promote better mental health and wellbeing for mums and dads to be and new parents through increased peer to peer relationships and accessing supportive services.Collections
