enDescription
The cancer pilot project falls within the long term conditions strand of the Better Together Patient Experience Programme, and is a three year project to build upon previous patient experience studies undertaken at the Cancer Care Research Centre with the University of Stirling. The aim of the overarching pilot project is to develop positive experiences for cancer patients and their carers. This project sought to ascertain the experiences of colorectal cancer patients, their carers and colorectal oncology clinic health care professionals. The experiences gathered together are presented within this report and recommendations have been formed which will be presented to the project team to enable action planning. A key objective of this project approach is to ensure both equity and patient experience are central to service improvement.Collections
