enDescription
The findings from this research indicate, however, that the health and social workforce is not homogeneous in terms of staff members’ roles, needs, and potential in addressing E&FI issues. Future planning and associated research should be underpinned by clarity and tighter specification of what is expected of the health and social care workforce. This should be informed by, and reflect, what is feasible for staff. As such, this will be dependent on the roles and remits of different staff groups, the settings in which they work and the nature of the patient/client contact that they have.Collections
