enDescription
The aim of the project was to develop and evaluate a model programme of health promotion for people who have a major mental health problem. The research project yielded information about the health and lifestyles of this client group and their health promotion needs, as well as assessing the benefits of providing a tailored programme of health promotion. The lessons learned from the delivery of this programme formed the basis of a rigorously evaluated programme of training in health promotion for professional staff in the MHRCs.Collections
