Qualitative Health Needs Assessment of those serving a community sentence and those untried in custody undertaken by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. The report explores the experiences and health needs of people in prison awaiting sentence, referred to as being ‘on remand’ and those serving community justice sentences. The research was commissioned to better understand how health, social circumstances, and justice system processes interact, and to identify opportunities to improve support and outcomes for people in contact with the justice system.
