Description
The Health Board recognised that if it was to assess the extent to which the health of those in Social Inclusion Partnership (SIP) areas had improved relative to those living elsewhere over the period in which the SIP initiatives were to operate, it required a population survey to define the baseline position on health and well-being and to incorporate a set of core indicators on health that would effectively act as markers of progress when the surveys were repeated at regular intervals.
