Its mission is to establish needs-led health improvement programmes within the workplace setting in Greater Glasgow and Clyde thus promoting: safe and healthy working environments, health equalities, employability, and healthy lifestyle choices. Targeting NHS services to employers and employees is an effective way of improving health in this setting. It also provides scope for influencing the health of the wider community.
